This was an awesome episode in general, but particularly fascinating if you have an interest in Bitcoin circular economies like I do. Evelyn was fun to listen to since she presented her stories with such enthusiasm and authenticity. It was great to learn about what a mature circular economy is like with over 140 merchants accepting Bitcoin, as well as how they evolved from the early days. Was super interesting that they have built up enough critical mass where the merchants onboard each other and they don't have to really "chase" folks anymore. Was also interesting how one merchant said that "dollar" sales were down, but Bitcoin sales were up and if he didn't accept Bitcoin he would have had a hard time feeding his family that month. I was surprised to hear that some folks are actually making the jump from just accepting bitcoin and using as a medium of exchange to saving in bitcoin and starting to inquire about how use cold storage. Countless interesting stories in this episode! Overall, I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it for all Bitcoiners!
