“You’re almost home,” said my Uber driver, as I stepped into his car.

I smiled and said “yes”, but in my heart, I quietly disagreed. I am home. Right now. After long journeys like the one I just completed from Asia to the US, without having a geographic “base” to call home, the knowingness that “I am always home” is slippery.

That’s the thing about being a digital nomad. My suitcase is a running joke, it’s my portable life. But the truth is deeper than that. I carry my home with me not in luggage, but in myself. In my body, my heart, my sense of presence. Like a turtle. Wherever I go, I’m already there.

The driver meant well. He was being kind. And without knowing it, he gave me a gift — a reminder of how fortunate I am to feel at home everywhere. No countdown. No “almost.” Just here, now, home.

We tend to think of home as a place. A matter of space — somewhere you travel to, somewhere you’re not quite at yet. But what if home is less a location and more a moment? What if being home is a time inquiry, not a space one? You are home right now. Always, right now.

That reframe opened something up in me. And then, layered right on top of it, came the time puzzle.

Time Is Wonkey

I’d just crossed more than 24 hours of travel. Around the world. I left Vietnam on April 12th in the afternoon, and landed in Oregon on April 12th in the afternoon. Same date. Same general time of day. Different hemisphere, different continent, different everything - except the clock.

I left from the future. Vietnam is 14 hours ahead. I crossed datelines, time zones, and hemispheres, and somehow arrived at the same moment I departed. Different coordinates, same clock.

That made me ponder.

Time, as we relate to it , the way we read clocks, measure hours, structure our days, is a human construct. Yes, it’s anchored in physics. Yes, it follows the laws of this 3D reality we inhabit, synced to circadian rhythms and the rotation of the earth. But the way we symbolize and communicate time? We built that. We agreed on it. And nothing makes that clearer than flying around the globe, watching the hours pass, and landing exactly where you started on the calendar.

Time is weirder than we let ourselves acknowledge.

We take it as fixed. As objective. As fact. But if you’ve ever spent time in a deeply imaginative state: daydreaming, meditating, or disconnecting from 3D reality, you’ve probably felt how elastic it can be. Those who’ve experienced psilocybin know this intimately. Time stretches, collapses, folds. You can feel like you’re in several places at once, and it may feel like a glitch. Quantum physics has been pointing at this for decades. A particle can exist in multiple states simultaneously. “What the Bleep Do We Know?” - that film from the early 2000s, brought this into mainstream conversation before most people were ready for it. Itzhak Bentov talked about it in his work, and Federico Faggin keeps opening my head to it.

We live as if time is a straight line. But maybe it’s more of a field.

Adopt A Different Lens on Time

Travel is one of the best tools I know for noticing the invisible structures you live inside, and time is one of them. When you’re constantly crossing time zones, adjusting your sleep, resetting your rhythm, you stop relating to the clock as something fixed and start relating to it as something you negotiate with. The structure becomes visible precisely because you keep disrupting it.

And that structure does have real value. Linear time: calendars, schedules, shared reference points, is genuinely useful. It helps us coordinate, plan, show up for each other. Being a good timekeeper isn’t something to dismiss. When you’re in tune with time, life flows more easily. That’s real.

But being in tune with something is different from being imprisoned by it. Questioning a system means understanding it well enough to use it consciously, despite the initial urge to abandon it. The same way I think about money, identity, and every other structure we’ve inherited: know the rules, know who made them, and decide for yourself how much authority they have over you. Time deserves the same scrutiny. Try experiencing it differently; through stillness, through travel, through whatever loosens the grip of the default setting.

And You?

Lately, my experience of time has been genuinely strange. Over the last few years, I feel everything accelerating... so much happening in a single day that time just flies. And then I look back at the last six years and it feels like two decades. One year feels like ten. The compression and the expansion seem to be happening simultaneously, and I don’t think I’m alone in that.

Ireland just launched a pilot for its Government Digital Wallet: a state-run app to store ID, birth certificate, driving license, and more. The government’s pitch sounds reassuring:
“You are in control of your data.”
“Nothing is tracked or recorded.”
“Only what’s needed gets shared.”
“It makes life simpler.”

They said the same things about every surveillance system before it became mandatory.

This move is part of the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI), an EU framework being rolled out across all member states, perfectly timed with the UN Agenda 2030 timeline. Ireland is just one domino. Every EU country is next.

The Digital Euro (CBDC) deadline complements this Digital ID & Wallet rollout, what a coincidence!

Ireland is legally required under EU regulation to have the wallet operational for public services by end of 2026, and extended to private services by end of 2027. “Voluntary” has an expiration date. They wrote it into law.

Now look at the Digital Euro timeline: the ECB rollout target is 2026–2027. The same window. The same infrastructure. A state-controlled digital ID wallet + a state-controlled digital currency, arriving together. You think it’s a coincidence? Once your ID and your money live in the same government app, every transaction can be permissioned, tracked, and cut off.

Social media policing is a feature, not a bug: Ireland’s Communications Minister has proposed requiring the wallet for social media access, meaning Irish people will need a state-issued digital ID just to log into Facebook, Instagram, or X. Adults who refuse? Lose their accounts.

Surveillance net disguised as child protection:
The Irish Council for Civil Liberties put it bluntly: this would mean users can no longer browse the internet with any degree of anonymity. Every page visit, every platform login will be traceable back to a specific government ID.

Agenda 2030 Infrastructure

You’re watching the convergence of digital ID + internet access control + social media monitoring + CBDC rails, all running through one government-issued app and infrastructure. Permission-based life: you exist online, move money, and access services only as long as the state allows. This is Agenda 2030 infrastructure being rolled out, in plain sight.

They’ll keep calling it “optional “ until it isn’t. The pilot phase is now, and the time to push back is before the legislation locks it in.

This is a slightly different piece of content. By popular demand, I’m sharing here a lecture I delivered a year ago (and again a few days ago), about Personal Branding.

Many people don’t know that I’ve been teaching the art of Personal Branding for the past decade, to thousands of people around the world.

I can go DEEP into this topic, as I’ve been developing my methods, evolving them, and sharing them with the world for many years. Maybe one day I’ll write a book. Who knows?

The way I see “Personal Branding” is not the way most people think about it. I see it as a tool for self-exploration, breaking down the pieces of our identity, to construct an abstract entity called a “brand” which is constructed by who we truly are, our deep essence, based on our values, mission and vision. It’s a tool to know ourselves better. A tool to advance our goals in life, a tool to understand a bit of the psyche behind human perception and demand generation.

I believe I managed, after many years, to pure my love, my heart, soul and spirit into this craft. I hope you get value out of it, and I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments.

by the way, I found it fascinating to see that my approach to Personal Branding is very similar to how Federico Faggin, one of the people I really love and learn so much from, is describing the “Seity”:

“In the philosophy of physicist Federico Faggin, particularly in his book Irreducible, a seity is defined as an individual, conscious entity possessing intrinsic identity, free will, and creativity, all fused into one indivisible whole. Derived from the Latin se (”oneself”), a seity represents a “self” that generates meaning from within and cannot be simulated by code or algorithms.

Key aspects of a seity according to Faggin include:

• Fundamental Consciousness: Seities are the “living threads” of quantum information, which Faggin posits is the fabric of reality. They are not emergent properties of the brain, but fundamental agents.

• Indivisible Selfhood: A seity is an indivisible, irreducible unit of awareness, often described as a “part-whole” of the “One” (the ultimate, holistic reality).

• Source of Meaning and Agency: Seities generate meaning from within and use free will to make choices, which Faggin interprets as the act of collapsing quantum wave functions.

• Difference from AI: While AI can manipulate symbols, a seity generates internal experience (qualia) and creates meaning. Therefore, a seity is fundamentally different from a machine.

• Eternal Nature: Faggin argues that seities are eternal; they do not extinguish upon the death of the physical body but rather return to or reorganize back into the “One”.

In short, a seity is a conscious self that observes, creates, and communicates meaning in a universe that is fundamentally alive and interconnected.

4. Most people struggle with the same psychological barriers

Common obstacles:

• Shyness or fear of self-promotion

• Imposter syndrome

• Lack of confidence

• Fear of sounding arrogant

• Difficulty articulating achievements

Key insight:

If you can praise others but not yourself, you likely undervalue your own worth.

5. Authenticity beats self-promotion

Good personal branding:

• Shares real achievements

• Uses facts instead of exaggeration

• Focuses on actions rather than adjectives

Example:

Bad

• “I’m the best marketer.”

Better

A personal brand can be broken into five building blocks:

1. Target audience

Who are you speaking to?

Examples:

• CEOs

• investors

• Bitcoin companies

• customers

• employers

2. Values

Deep principles you stand for.

Examples:

• freedom

• truth

• sovereignty

• integrity

3. Characteristics

How others would describe you.

Examples:

• creative

• bold

• analytical

• disciplined

4. Look & feel

Your external presentation:

• clothing

• posture

• smile

• body language

• presence

5. Tone of voice

Your communication style:

• direct

• humorous

• analytical

• conversational

Together these form your brand identity system.

7. Non-verbal communication matters more than words

Human communication breakdown:

• 55% body language & facial expression

• 38% tone of voice

• 7% actual words

Meaning:
Your presence and confidence influence perception more than what you say.

8. Your biography is your first branding tool

Everyone should create:

1. A one-line positioning statement

2. A short biography (1–2 paragraphs)

3. A full bio (about a page)

Example structure:

• Who you are

• Your background

• What you specialize in

• What you stand for

These are used for:

• conferences

• interviews

• networking

• media appearances

9. Practice your self-introduction

You should be able to introduce yourself clearly in 30–60 seconds.

A good introduction includes:

• name

• background

• expertise

• mission or focus

Goal:
Make it easy for people to remember and describe you.

10. Proof of work builds credibility

Claims alone don’t build a brand.

People verify through:

• your work

• articles

• projects

• speaking

• community contributions

Your brand becomes strong when your actions consistently match your claims.

11. Community accelerates personal branding

Building communities helps establish authority.

Examples:

• professional groups

• meetups

• podcasts

• newsletters

• industry networks

Community participation increases:

• visibility

• credibility

• influence.

12. Personal branding strengthens sovereignty

A strong brand protects reputation.

Reason:
When people cannot control you, they often try to attack your credibility.

If your brand is strong:

• attacks have less impact

• people trust your track record.

13. The deeper level: mission, vision, and essence

Advanced branding includes:

Mission

What you actively do.

Example:

• “Expose hidden truths through journalism.”

Vision

The world you want to create.

Example:

• peace, freedom, decentralization.

Brand essence

Your core identity in one idea or word.

Example:

• truth

• voice

• freedom.

14. Personal branding is “being” before “doing”

Branding is not just tactics.

It starts with:

1. self-awareness

2. authenticity

3. values

Then comes:

4. content

5. networking

6. visibility

15. Practical starting steps

If someone wants to begin building their personal brand:

1. Write your values

2. Define your target audience

3. List your skills and characteristics

4. Create your bio and positioning statement

5. Practice your self-introduction

6. Start sharing content or ideas publicly

7. Build relationships in your community

A personal brand is not about self-promotion.

What makes Argentina unique isn’t that inflation happened, it’s how often it happened, and how consistently it reset collective memory. Roughly once per generation, the currency collapses, is renamed or restructured, and trust is asked to start over. Each time, people believe a little less.

• Late 19th century: the original break in trust
  By the late 1800s, Argentina was already learning a lesson it would repeat many times. Persistent fiscal deficits, war spending, and weak monetary institutions slowly ate away at the value of the peso moneda nacional. Inflation wasn’t yet called “hyper,” but the damage was real: savings eroded, confidence cracked, and Argentinians began to internalize the idea that money issued by the state was not something you held long term.

• 1975–1976: the Rodriazo shock
  A century later, that distrust exploded into open crisis. In what became known as the Rodrigazo, the government abruptly lifted price controls and devalued the peso almost overnight. Inflation shot past 300% annually, wages collapsed in real terms, and daily life became a scramble to outrun rising prices. It wasn’t just an economic event—it was a psychological one, permanently embedding inflation fear into the culture.

• 1985: the Austral promise
  The government responded with a familiar move: a reset. The peso was scrapped and replaced by the austral, cutting three zeros and promising a fresh start. For a brief moment, it worked. Prices stabilized, hope returned, and people dared to believe again. But fiscal discipline didn’t last, and once credibility faded, inflation crept back in—faster than before.

• 1989–1990: money stops working
  Then came true hyperinflation. Prices were rising so fast that cash lost value within days, sometimes hours. Annual inflation approached 5,000%. Supermarkets changed prices multiple times a day, wages lagged hopelessly behind, and the austral effectively stopped functioning as money. Argentinians learned, in real time, that money could simply… break.

• 1991–2001: stability by peg—and its collapse
  In the early 1990s, Argentina tried a more radical fix. Another reset replaced the austral with the peso convertible, rigidly pegged one-to-one with the U.S. dollar. For nearly a decade, stability returned. Inflation vanished, trust rebuilt, and a generation grew up believing the nightmare was over. Then the peg snapped. The 2001 collapse brought default, frozen bank accounts, mass protests, and yet another destruction of savings—this time overnight.

• 2018–present: hyperinflation without the label
  Today’s crisis doesn’t come with wheelbarrows of cash or a formal currency replacement, but the pattern is unmistakable. Inflation returned to triple digits, capital controls tightened, and multiple exchange rates fractured reality. The peso still exists on paper, but in practice Argentinians treat it as a short-term transaction tool—saving in dollars, goods, or anything that holds value longer than a few weeks.

“Oh shit, the videos are not playing…”
That’s probably one of the worst things that can happen to a public speaker.

And it happened, on the most beautiful stage in the most beautiful venue I have ever presented in.
I had two options: one – freak out, pretend it’s all okay, and improvise for the rest of the next half an hour, trying to explain to the audience what’s in the videos.
Or two – stop, take a deep breath and tell the production team: “guys, take five minutes to re-download the presentation, make sure the videos work while I chat to the audience. Let me know when you’re done and it’s working.”
And so I did. I insisted, and had a good chat with the audience who clapped, encouraged me and yelled out “share your wisdom with us.”

Sometimes insisting on a successful outcome is worth it. I enjoyed every minute of this presentation. I had worked hard to create it, and the audience got the full value they deserve.

Remember, even when you’re in full-acceptance-of-life mode, you still have the choice to re-write the script.
